The Problem
Docent Health started out as a concept within the healthcare incubator, Cien Ventures, when they recognized an opportunity in the healthcare space to help hospitals address the increasing importance of the patient’s experience.
Using technology to enhance the patients expereince, Cien set-out to define a product that would allow hospital stewards to manage pateints expectations, goals and satisfaction.

For the first iteration a product was designed and developed over a 12 week period and tested in a pilot hospital.
Iterating and Feature Enhancement
After releasing, testing and piloting a MVP feedback was gathered and the product was moved forward to an iOS app with more features that patient stewards requested.
